The Summer School took place from 4-11 July 2015 in Ischia, Italy where it was hosted at the Continental Hotel. The local organiser is the University of Naples Federico II with its Federica Weblearning platform (Campus Virtuale FESR 2007-2013). The EMMA Summer School was held alongside the annual summer school organised by The European Association for Technology Enhanced Learning (EATEL), more information about the EATEL Summer School available here.

Ischia is one of the most famous seaside and touristic spa centres in the world, it is located in the Gulf of Naples and it is renowned for its mild climate, spectacular scenery, sprawling spa towns, and picturesque small towns. The Aragonese Castle, the “Chiesa del Soccorso” in Forio, the Sant’Angelo village, the green tufa architectures of Serrara Fontana are only some of the many beautiful places there are to visit.

Cost

The cost of participation includes 7 nights (full cost of accommodation) and the meals.
